Virtual SeminarsEvaluating the Quality of Liquid Handling Devices: A Discussion on the Need for Standards

Paul B. Taylor
(GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals)

As the use of homogeneous miniaturized assays continues to evolve there is a need to ensure that compounds and reagents are delivered as expected to target wells. The procedure one lab is using for quality control will be presented and standard liquid handling procedures will be explored

At the conclusion of the Virtual Seminar, attendees will be able to:

  • Get an overview of liquid handling dispense mechanisms.
  • Learn about factors to take into account when selecting a liquid handler.
  • Find out about categories of liquid handler testing.
  • Gain insight into relevant statistical parameters and acceptance criteria.
